Eggs
Kangaroo Island free rang eggs.
Available from the Queen Victoria Market for $8.30 per dozen, that works out to be around $0.69 per egg.
I eat these eggs because of the following:
- Do not practice debeaking hens are full beaked.
- 1,600 hectare farm.
- 50,000 free range hens.
- 50 mobile sheds (Making use of fresh pasture).
- Hens are never locked in and are free to roam.
- Nest boxes have plenty of room.
- Mareeman guardian dogs protect the Hens from preadators.
- Native tree provide shade and shelter.
- Clean pastures (Free to range at all times)
- Accredited by Humane Choice as “True Free Range”
- Eggs graded and packed on the farm (Strick quality assurance)
Something I am concerned about:
- Hens are natural feed grains All home grown.
