Big Fat Lies Book Review
Australian David Gillespie the author describes himself as a recovering corporate lawyer. Is a father of six children (one set of twins) David found himself carrying around an extra 40 kilograms of fat and set out to find out why everyone in his generation was getting fatter and fatter. Going over the latest medical industry findings and nutrition and fat gain he made a chilling discovery. He needed to stop poisoning himself and that fat was not his biggest worry.
This book does a great job in explaining the true causal factors of what makes us fat, sugar and polyunsaturated fats. David highlights how the multimillion dollar health died and food industries have manipulated the health message to their advantage and to our detriment. They have made us feel guilty whenever we do not follow it.
If you want a happier and healthier life, and who dose not? You need to understand the truth about diet, exercise, supplement and processed food and eliminate them as for first step towards greater health.
For many years everyone has been told to eat less, exercise more, eat more (toxic) polyunsaturated oil, take more omega-3 supplements and of course to stop eating that artery clogging saturated fat. For too many years this is what the population has done. Are we better off for it? Absolutely not, we are worse off then ever before cancer, dementia, diabetes heat disease and obesity level have sky rocketed and are only getting worse.
It is the sugar. It is poison. Stop eating it. You are not fat because of your genetics. You are fat because you lack the understanding of human biology and have been fooled by the mainstream marketing telling you fat is the way to go.
I personally know people who stopped the sugar, stopped the exercise and dropped 20 kilos with just that single tweak. No Sugar.
