Grass-fed Beef now available at Aldi Supermarkets:

Before learning of this from a work-friend I was shopping at Hagens Organic Butcher at the Queen Victoria Market. Aldis price is on the order of half!

I do however wonder just exactly what does “Grass Fed” mean. Was the animal feed grass its entire life? Was it fed grass at one stage of its life?  Or did it life on a farm so must have technically even if by accident ate some grass and therefore is eligible for the Grass Fed sticker?

At the same time how can I be sure Hagens is 100% grass fed just because the guy at the shop said it is?

All in all if this is indeed grass fed beef it is definitely a good deal!
